If you have a drive with free space, you can use that drive as the temporary storage location and recover files to that drive as well. Before proceeding, you will have to select the temporary storage location if you have not already. To select temporary storage, you will need to select your internal drive that you want to scan after selecting “Start Recovering Files.” Once you have selected the drive, then I suggest running the Deep Scan option. I would recommend using a USB 3.0 flash drive with at least 32GB of memory to create the BootWell.
